Watch as the teenagers tackle the after math of 'The Troubles' in Northern Ireland through this hilarious TV series. The series featured on Netflix is two seasons long. The majority of the scenes are set around school life in a catholic school in Derry.

"All comedy is tragedy + time, as they say, but wait long enough" said an article about Derry Girls in an  El Pais article. Northern Irish accents can be difficult to understand at times but this show is a MUST watch in english, just put on the subtitles, sit back and enjoy the laugh out loud belly laughs.

Some of you might recognise the blonde girl with the fringe and pigtails, Nicola Coughlan pronounced, 'Cock-lan' from one of Netflix's latest series 'Bridgerton'. Nicola a woman from Galway who mastered the Derry accent has become a well sought after actress in the past four years.
